Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a reputed healthcare institution in Jalandhar. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients, planning chemotherapy and targeted therapies, monitoring treatment outcomes, and providing comprehensive oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and evaluate patients with various types of cancer
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
• Monitor patient progress and manage treatment-related complications
• Coordinate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board discussions and clinical decision-making
Qualifications:
• MBBS + MD/DNB (Medicine) with DM/DNB Medical Oncology or equivalent qualification
• Valid medical registration
• Relevant experience in medical oncology preferred
Experience:
1-5+ years (preferred)
